Coffee
Our goal was simple but ambitious: we wanted a coffee that would surprise everyone. We looked around the world and blended two legendary coffee sources: Brazil and Ethiopia.
Brazilian
Veloso
This speciality coffee, with 82 SCA points (Special Coffee Association assessment from 0 to 100) comes from the Santa Cecilia Estate in Minas Gerais, some 1,200 metres above sea level. It uses Catuai Rojo beans and is processed in a dry mill. It has notes of milk chocolate, brown sugar, yellow plum and red fruits. Delicious!
Ethiopian
Kentite
Straight from the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia, Kentite Grade 2 is grown at 1,500-2,000 metres, and scores 87.25 SCA points. It is batch washed and has an exciting history. Sweet and juicy, with floral notes, blood orange and a fine citric acidity. Coffee with soul.

You will be amazed by Amàre Hotels signature coffee, brewed by barista Adrián Fernández. With an impressive track record, this professional barista’s attachment to coffee started when he was just a child. After years of effort and dedication, he has won multiple barista championships, both in Spain and internationally, such as the FOZ International Barista Championship in 2015 or the title of SCA Spanish Brewers (filter) champion in 2017.
In 2015, he founded SECAFE, a company focused on coffee-related training, consultancy and events, and has trained more than 3,000 professionals across the country. He also created the successful business model Go! Coffee in 2021, with plans to expand as a franchise in 2024.
Today, he advises companies on how to improve their relationship with coffee and offers his expertise to professionals who are passionate about this delicious beverage. In addition to his achievements, he is an SCA-certified professional barista and holds various official authorisations and titles in the coffee world.
The art of
roasting
When our green coffee beans arrive in Spain, KIMA Coffee Roasters in Malaga, winners of the best micro-roaster in Spain prize at the 2022 Coffee Awards, take over. After multiple tastings, we have created two different roast profiles: a more intense one for breakfast and a lighter, fresher one for espresso, both available in our refreshment areas. Tailor-made roasting!

Freshness
All our beans are hand-roasted every week, guaranteeing their freshness at any time. The fruit of this work is a sweet, medium-bodied coffee with notes of milk chocolate, red fruits with a fine acidity. Ideal for any occasion.
